Senior Day – Thursday, Aug. 1
Senior Day at the fair begins at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1, in the Waymire Dome. Guests 55+ can indulge in a farm-to-table lunch, experience the fair, and enjoy a line-up of events especially for them. No registration is required.
9News Kids Day – Friday, Aug. 2
Join us for 9News Kids Day at the Adams County Fair on Friday, Aug. 2, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Discounted carnival armbands are available for purchase until 3 p.m. (valid until 4 p.m.). Hang out with your favorite home team mascots, including Rocky, Bernie, and Dinger, and learn dance moves from the Broncos cheerleaders. Also take advantage of the free Water World Kids Zone.

Funnel Cake 5K Race and 1-Mile Fun Run – Saturday, Aug. 3
Support Adams County foster kids by participating in the Funnel Cake 5K Race & 1-Mile Fun Run on Saturday, Aug. 3. The 5K race starts at 7:30 a.m. followed by the Fun Run at 8 a.m. Register now.
Brunch Yoga – Saturday, Aug. 3
Enjoy sun salutations, child’s pose, downward facing dog, and more at Brunch Yoga. The class starts at 10 a.m. and includes a catered brunch buffet and beverages—both nonalcoholic and alcoholic. The cost is $20. Register now.
Cornhole Competition – Saturday, Aug. 3
Register with a partner and join us for cornhole in the park. The competition begins at 12 p.m.

Suncor’s Emergency Response Team (ERT) will conduct fire extinguisher training Wednesday, July 8, 2020, from approximately 1-3 p.m. The fire extinguisher training will take place at the Plant 1 fire training grounds on the western edge of the Commerce City refinery property. During the training there will likely be flames and smoke produced. Local stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and local government officials have been notified.
A Jefferson County judge ordered the City and County of Denver to pay Adams County more than $33 million for violations of an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) regarding noise levels at Denver International Airport (DIA) during the years of 2014, 2015, and 2016. DIA was found in violation of 67 Class II noise exposure performance standards (NEPS) during the aforementioned years.
