Adams County launched the COVID-19 Grant Program, funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), a federal program, to help with response and recovery efforts in the community.
The program is designed to help provide financial support for projects and programs assisting in COVID-19 response and recovery efforts in Adams County. Businesses, nongovernmental organizations, nonprofit organizations, school districts, and special districts are encouraged to apply.
“We are thrilled to offer this grant program to our community businesses, nonprofits, etc., many of which were hit so hard by the pandemic,” said Eva J. Henry, Adams County Commissioner and Board Chair. “Many areas are still in recovery mode and supporting community programs for those who need it the most will help us all get back on our feet faster.”
Approximately $35 million in grant funds is available to assist with response and recovery efforts within Adams County. The grant application is now open and the deadline to apply is Dec. 15, 2021.
“Our community is resilient, and working together we can pull out of the devastation felt by many from the pandemic,” said Raymond H. Gonzales, County Manager. “Community organizations best know the needs across the county, and we want to offer financial support to these organizations who have a direct impact in our communities.”

Jordan Davis to Headline 2023 Adams County Fair’s Thursday Concert
The Adams County Fair is excited to announce country music star, Jordan Davis, will be headlining the annual concert on Aug. 3, presented by Brannan Aggregates. Adams County Government Names Alisha Reis Senior Deputy County Manager
Adams County Government has announced that Alisha Reis will be elevated to senior deputy county manager, effective immediately. Reis has served as deputy county manager since 2018, helping to manage the day-to-day operations of the fifth-largest county in Colorado, with approximately 520,000 residents. She also served as interim county manager for nine months, the first time a woman served in the role of chief appointed official for Adams County.

Adams County is proud to announce the distribution of its second round of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding, a total of $48,550,500.
