Brian Staley has been named Director of the Adams County Public Works Department.
Staley previously served for nearly three years as the Public Works deputy director and senior traffic engineer. He brings more than 22 years of organizational leadership experience to this position. Staley earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in civil engineering from the University of Colorado. He is also a registered professional engineer with the State of Colorado and achieved certifications as a professional traffic operations engineer and road safety professional.
“Brian brings a breadth of knowledge to Public Works, and I feel confident his skills and ability to lead will improve the important work the department provides to our residents,” said County Manager Raymond H. Gonzales. “It is always exciting when we can provide career progression opportunities for our employees, and I am looking forward to working with Brian in his new capacity.”
