Mike Holub has been promoted to the position of Director of the Facilities & Fleet Management Department at Adams County. Holub has been serving as the Deputy Director of the department.
During his tenure with the county, Holub has managed numerous successful construction projects, including the Justice Center, Animal Shelter, District Attorney’s Office, and the Sheriff and Coroner Headquarters. Holub also was instrumental in implementing sustainable practices in the HVAC field, including digital control applications, energy management and conservation projects, and computerized preventative maintenance programs.
“Over the past two decades, Mike’s dedication to professional growth and development first led to a supervisor position – then a manager’s role, and finally, Deputy Director,” said County Manager Raymond H. Gonzales. “Mike’s ascension through the organization serves as a great example of our dedication to elevate our internal candidates as their experience, education, and opportunities align.”
Holub started with the county in November 1997 as a temporary HVAC Technician and Construction Project Manager for the Adams County Justice Center project. Holub accepted a full-time position in May 1998 and has worked for the county’s Facilities Department since, including serving as Facility Operations Manager for several years.
