Adams County Workforce & Business Center is pleased to support the partnership with Arapahoe Community College and HealthONE in announcing a NEW 12-month Medical Assistant Apprenticeship program starting September 2019. If you’ve always wanted to explore working in healthcare – plan to attend one of the information sessions to learn how becoming a medical assistant can transform your career outlook.
HealthONE is proud to invest and support an “earn while you learn” Medical Assistant Apprenticeship program. Developed in collaboration with the trusted community college network and workforce center partners, this one-year program helps caring, compassionate, service-oriented people become skilled caregivers and receive priority consideration for open Medical Assistant positions within HealthONE.

The Regional Transportation District (RTD), in coordination with Suncor and local emergency services will conduct an emergency preparedness drill for the N Line on Wednesday, Oct. 28, between the hours of 8 a.m. and noon. The drill will take place at RTD’s Commerce City/72nd Station, 3838 E. 72nd Ave.
The National Weather Service has extended the Red Flag warning for Adams County until 6 p.m. Weds., Oct. 14. A Red Flag Warning automatically places Adams County at Level 2 Fire Restrictions. No open burning is allowed until further notice. Those having burn permits issued by the Fire Chief CANNOT burn during Level 2.
