The annual pre-Independence Day celebration at Riverdale Regional Park is back! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, July 3. Ward Electric presents a free evening in the park with country singer Thomas Mac, food, activities, and a spectacular fireworks display to honor America's independence.
"As we gather to celebrate Independence Day, we reflect on the freedoms and values that unite us as a community," said Emma Pinter, Chair of the Board of County Commissioners. "It's a time to honor our history and enjoy the spirit of togetherness that this holiday brings."
Attendees can also enjoy a diverse array of food vendors offering classic American fare, Italian, and Mexican favorites.
Please leave the fireworks of any type to our professionals. For the safety and comfort of your pets and all event attendees, please keep your furry friends at home for the Stars & Stripes event. Visitors are kindly reminded that most fireworks are illegal in Adams County. Outside alcohol and glass bottles are not permitted. For more event information and Park Rules, visit adcogov.org/parks or call 303.637.8000.
Road closure notice: 124th Avenue will be closed starting at noon on Wednesday, July 3, from Brighton Road to Riverdale Road. Residents will access Riverdale Regional Park on Park Boulevard off 120th Avenue. 124th Avenue will open at night after the fireworks display.
