Governor Polis Orders Flags Lowered to Honor the Passing of U.S. Representative Donald McEachin from Virginia

DENVER — Today, Governor Jared Polis ordered flags to be lowered to half-staff beginning immediately until sunset tonight, in honor of the passing of U.S. Representative Donald McEachin from Virginia, as directed by President Biden.

2024 Stars & Stripes Celebration

Kick off your Independence Day celebrations early at the annual Stars & Stripes event on Wednesday, July 3, 4-10 p.m., at Riverdale Regional Park, 9755 Henderson Rd., Brighton. Food and beer vendors will begin serving at 4 p.m. Live entertainment with country singer Thomas Mac begins at 7:30 p.m. The night will end with musical fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
