N Line Opens
On Monday, Sept. 21, Adams County Commissioners, along with local and state leaders, celebrated the grand opening of the N Line. The N Line stretches across the metro from Union Station downtown to Thornton’s Eastlake 124th station. RTD is offering free rides on the N Line now through Sept. 27.
Free State Covid-19 Testing in Adams County
The State of Colorado has established a COVID-19 testing site in Adams County, located at Water World, 8801 N. Pecos St., Federal Heights. The site will operate daily from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., today through September, with the possibility of an extension based on community need. Up to 2,500 tests will be administered each day, and there is no cost to get tested.
Master Carvers in Adams County
Keep an eye out for these master carvers out on our Adams County trail system. During the week, carvers will be out on the South Platte River trail near Riverdale Regional Park. Feel free to stop by and say hi or grab a photo of their amazing artwork!
Mini-Grants for Local Small Businesses
Adams County has partnered with several local Chambers of Commerce to develop a series of mini-grants in three categories to support small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 situation. Federal funding for the grants comes from the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act passed by Congress. More information.
