Adams County Students Awarded More Than $1 Million in Scholarships

Fifty-eight Adams County high school students were awarded scholarships totaling more than $1 million on Wednesday, June 7, through the Adams County Scholarship Fund. Adams County Commissioners introduced the Scholarship Fund in 2016, in partnership with the Colorado Department of Higher Education’s Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative, making this the eighth group of recipients.

2024 Stars & Stripes Celebration

Kick off your Independence Day celebrations early at the annual Stars & Stripes event on Wednesday, July 3, 4-10 p.m., at Riverdale Regional Park, 9755 Henderson Rd., Brighton. Food and beer vendors will begin serving at 4 p.m. Live entertainment with country singer Thomas Mac begins at 7:30 p.m. The night will end with musical fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
