Adams County Announces $4.638 Million in ARPA Grants for Domestic Violence Prevention Programs

Using federal funds available through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), the Adams County Board of Commissioners (BoCC) awarded $4.638 million to local organizations for initiatives aimed at domestic violence prevention and services at its public hearing on Tuesday, April 23.

2024 Stars & Stripes Celebration

Kick off your Independence Day celebrations early at the annual Stars & Stripes event on Wednesday, July 3, 4-10 p.m., at Riverdale Regional Park, 9755 Henderson Rd., Brighton. Food and beer vendors will begin serving at 4 p.m. Live entertainment with country singer Thomas Mac begins at 7:30 p.m. The night will end with musical fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
